GUESS WHAT!? I’m flying to UKRAINE on Saturday! 😍 As a U.S. Cultural Ambassador & Arts Envoy, I’ll be working there, teaching AND performing through the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv! 🥳🥳🥳
My brothers & I will lead a 4-day incubator about songwriting, creative courage, & innovation in creative arts. We’ll also be traveling to Poltava (another city in Ukraine) too, giving a lecture & performance, AND will visit some children in a Ukrainian orphanage with an appearance by international singing lovable superstar: HAIRY GARY! 😉
Many of you already know our December Turkmenistan trip was cancelled, and we weren’t sure if we would get placed somewhere else. It’s thanks to the fabulous teams at American Voices, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv that we have this incredible opportunity, especially with short notice. Everyone worked hard over the holidays to make this possible!! 🎉🎉🎉 !!!
I couldn’t be more thrilled to be going to Ukraine— I CAN FEEL DEEP IN MY HEART this upcoming experience will be life altering in ways I can only see the fuzzy outlines of, but must experience in person to realize and absorb fully.
